Toasted Wheat Germ
Toasting wheat germ gives it an especially nutty flavor and crunchy texture. Set oven to 350°F. Pour wheat germ in a thin layer on a baking sheet and bake for 5–10 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Wheat germ browns quickly; keep a close watch.
